Feira de Santana is a municipality in the State of Bahia located 108 kilometers from its capital, Salvador, which
connects through the BR­324. Feira, as it is commonly dubbed, is the second most populous city in the state
and largest city of the northeastern interior population, ie, is the largest inland city in the North, Northeast,
Midwest and South of Brazil, and is also sixth largest city in the country, with a population of more than eight
state capitals. In Brazil’s urban hierarchy, Feira de Santana is a regional capital and home to the largest
